2025 Q1 Highlights

After a brilliant 2024, we returned from a well-earned break feeling refreshed and ready to make this year even better. Our consultants wasted no time getting back to work, reconnecting with clients and candidates, and setting the tone for a strong start to the year.

This quarter hasn’t just been about hard work, we’ve made time for fun and giving back too. From a celebratory Pay Day breakfast and late start, to helping load up food delivery vans for communities in need, it’s been a busy and rewarding few months. We've marked work anniversaries, shared some great team moments, and wrapped up the quarter in style with a night out in Manchester.

One of our favourite ways to mark the end of the month is with a well-earned late start and a team breakfast out – a small tradition that’s become a real highlight for us.

This quarter, we found ourselves back at Dishoom not once, but twice (safe to say it’s an office favourite!). We also tried out PIP Restaurant at the newly opened Treehouse Hotel – partly for the food, mostly to admire the cosy, modern design it’s become known for.

Our team had the privilege of volunteering at The Bread and Butter Thing’s warehouse, and we’re amazed by the incredible work they do for the community! We were fortunate to spend time at their Trafford Park warehouse, where surplus food is received, sorted, and loaded onto vans before heading out to their members. A huge thank you to the team for having us - we loved it!

For those unfamiliar with this fantastic charity, The Bread-and-Butter Thing delivers nutritious, affordable food to communities and people in need of support, providing fresh produce and essentials every week. But they do so much more than that. Their work helps build connections, reduce loneliness, and offer tailored support, making a real difference where it’s needed most.

To celebrate the end of a great quarter, we took the team out in Manchester after our Q1 meeting. We started the evening at Electric Shuffle, which was great fun which was followed by pizza and drinks at Ramona! A great way to bring everyone together and look forward to the next quarter!

The end of the quarter is always a great time to reflect on our achievements and identify ways to improve. Each quarter, we set targets for our consultants, rewarding those who go above and beyond. A huge congratulations to Amber Moran for being named our Consultant of the Quarter!

This quarter we wanted give everyone recognition for their unwavering effort; what started off as a slow quarter ended with one of our best months ever, so we really appreciate the push!
